As the world of social media and the like continues to evolve and grow – I am finding that different people reside and even focus on different platforms. 

It is simply an impossibility to exist [in a meaningful way at least] on all of them, but connecting with you the way that YOU wish to be connected with is a true desire of mine.

Who knows better than you!?

With that in mind, I created this quick landing page in order for you to see how I use the different platforms out there so that you can best define the way for us to be connected.  After all – no one knows better than you what you want, do they?

FACEBOOK

This is my main internet presence outside of the blogosphere.  I only have one profile because my personal life and business are intertwined.  I am not someone different at the office so I connect with everyone here – clients ARE friends so why do people try to keep them separate?  I strive to be as transparent as possible because I find that people do not want to do business with a stuffed shirt.  [Some say it is because I am not smart enough to live two lives.  I think that may be true!]  I am who I am on Facebook.  http://facebook.com/ConnectWithChris

That being said, I do have an Orlando Mortgage Pro on Facebook Page for folks that love the more intense mortgage content.  [Thanks mom for being the fan.]  I try to at least limit the mortgage updates on my personal FB wall, but again – I be who I be – so it will show up. http://www.facebook.com/OrlandoFHALoans

TWITTER

Twitter is pretty cool.  If you have not checked it out or understand what the story is about all the hype, there is a great little Twitter in Plain English youtube vid that does a good job explaining.  I typically use twitter to share interesting stuff that I find online… both mortgage and otherwise.  90% of my tweets inlclude a link to something online of value, so don’t worry -  I won’t tweet that “I am brushing my teeth”, or “standing in line at the DMV.”  That is amateur hour. http://twitter.com/Chris_Brown_

I also have another Twitter account http://twitter.com/Prayer_Tweets. By the grace of God, I have ended up being a hub for many people at my church, Northland, for networking prayer requests.  Most of it is facilitated through The Facebook Group I created [see above] for the church, but I have recently added a twitter account that has just a few followers to see how God uses it.
